The mission of the QOV Foundation is to cover ALL those servicemembers and veterans touched by war with Wartime Quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVs).  This Foundation is not about politics. It is about people.

Come work on quilts that go to the valiant men and women of the US Armed Forces that are away from home during this time of conflict and show our support of their effort.  Quilts made lovingly by women and men from home show them that they're still loved, cared for, and have people at home waiting for their safe return.

If you want basic info on how to proceed, here is the information in a nutshell.

• The finished QOV should be at least 50" x 60". That means you should make the top bigger than 50 x 60.
• Most recipients love patriotic colors and/or pattern themes. We do have female wounded warriors but the majority are male.
• Use good quality quilting cotton fabric.
• Choose a good backing. Our volunteer longarmers are just waiting to get your tops. It is amazing how they change an ordinary top to a Cinderella of a Quilt of Valor.
